One instrument

The Index does not score “risk news.” It scores a human system through six domains that together describe how insecurity propagates:

• Body — material and energetic capacity
• Mind — information and interpretive coherence
• Identity — binding narratives and legitimacy
• Perceived — what is felt and communicated as threat
• Adaptation — ability to reorganize under load
• Courage — capacity to act against fear and inertia

Insecurity, on this frame, is disorder rising faster than a system can adapt — pressure that accumulates, amplifies, and either adapts or ruptures.

Why six, not one

A single macro series can look fine while adaptive capacity erodes. A fear index can spike while structure is already broken — or stay calm while structure loads. Six domains force the desk to see the system as a system.

Locked formula

On the live face, domains feed sealed V5-locked physics (V5-locked (1.19.0)). AI gathers and structures evidence into that formula; it does not invent the score. Same inputs, same output.

Reading domains with Watch and Act

Domain color and commentary support judgment. The capital product clocks remain Watch and Act on the aggregate instrument. Do not promote a single domain spike into Act without the dual trigger doctrine.
