What lock means
The formula does not move. Thermodynamic load and the entropy gap use the same sealed constants. Cutoff windows are policy-derived, not hand-picked after the chart is drawn. Historical cases and the live face share one edition hash.
Data in. Score out — no AI in the number. That’s why you can act before the crisis is obvious.
Scoring is deterministic under sealed physics. AI structures evidence into that formula and can read the face. It does not write the number.
Two clocks, one instrument
Watch is notice: the earliest Crisis reading of any fashion — surface it to the office. Do not treat Watch alone as an allocate signal.
Act is decide: dual Crisis only — load in Crisis and the entropy gap at or above Orange together. That is the capital clock.
Collapsing them into one red light is how desks either miss early stress or overtrade noise. The literacy note is Watch versus Act.
Proof we will stand behind
Watch and Act both lit dual Crisis by March 2008 — 6 months before Lehman. Markets still looked orderly. That reconstruction is sealed, point-in-time, and the public sales floor. It is not a promise that the next break will rhyme on the same calendar.

Isolation
Prior engines are references. They are not mixed into pass/fail or into the live face. If a series is not period-correct, we leave it out rather than splice a prettier chart. A VOID after the hunt is honest; a spliced “official print” is not.
What we will not say
We will not call Watch a prediction that an event fires next month. We will not sell Act as a return. We will not retune the freeze to manufacture lead versus headlines. We will not put generative scoring in the number.
AI structures evidence into a sealed formula — it does not invent the score.
Why the thousand doors use this freeze
On 16 August 2026 we opened 1,000 x402 agent endpoints on the same lock. Scale without a freeze is inventory. Scale on a freeze is a product.
